Congratulations to Mylah Navales, La Costa Canyon High School; Nicolette Hoang, Sage Creek High School; Andrew Aarons, Pacific Ridge School; Quinton Blackston, Carlsbad High School; and Connor Atteberry, Carlsbad Seaside Academy.
On January 28th, 2025 the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce hosted its monthly Rising Star of the Month Breakfast. The students were recognized for demonstrating character, integrity, love of learning, involvement in school and community activities and/or the ability to overcome challenging life circumstances without compromising their education. The core of the Rising Star of the Month is the student who makes a difference in their home, school and community with sincerity and passion.
