Congratulations to our April honorees: Andrea De Lost Santos, Carlsbad High School; Diana Salazar, Sage Creek High School; Reese Silcox, La Costa Canyon High School; Lubahah Almtwale, Carlsbad Seaside Academy; and Michael Ramirez, Army and Navy Academy.
Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce hosted our Rising Star of the Month breakfast. The Rising Star of the Month program honors our local high school seniors for demonstrating character, integrity, love of learning, involvement in school and community activities and/or the ability to overcome challenging life circumstances without compromising their education. The core of the Rising Star of the Month is the student who makes a difference in their home, school and community with sincerity and passion.
